Inspired by Patel’s travels throughout Asia, Polynesia and the Caribbean, Mamey derives its name from the unique fruit while showcasing the exotic flavors and spices commonly found in tropical cuisine. Mamey’s relaxed atmosphere offers a fun, convivial destination for hotel guests and locals alike and is an idyllic escape where guests can indulge in vibrant cuisine and refreshing cocktails.

An extension of Mamey, Mamey on 3rd is located on the third floor rooftop terrace and open daily featuring a menu by Mamey’s acclaimed Chef Niven Patel. At 3pm daily, Mamey on 3rd transforms into the place to gather after work and lounge under the stars with island-inspired sips from the talented bar team behind Mamey and live music activations ranging from DJs to Jazz nights.

Chef Niven Patel

Chef Niven Patel embodies the definition of farm-to-table philosophy and brings this to us by way of his two-acre farm located about an hour south of Coral Gables in Homestead, Florida. The sprawling farm, Rancho Patel, was started in 2014 and now supplies his restaurants with freshly harvested produce — including mangoes, eggplant, avocados, beets, and many other various fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
