Staff Picks: Mamey & Mamey on 3rd
Every dish on Mamey’s menu is bursting with local ingredients and bright flavors—that’s why we’ve put together a list of favorites and must-try dishes from our team at THesis. We’ve also included picks from Mamey’s sister restaurant, Mamey on 3rd located on our rooftop terrace.
Mushroom Summer Roll (At Mamey & Mamey on 3rd)
“The Summer Roll is my favorite dish because of how light and refreshing it is. A normal summer roll is fresh but doesn’t have a lot of layers—where ours has pickled shiitake which adds depth, nasturtium from our ranch which adds a peppery note, and lots of herbs: Thai basil, cilantro, mint citrus ponzu. It’s a delicious appetizer.”
Chef Niven Patel – Culinary Director for Mamey and THesis
Honeycrisp Apple Salad (Only at Mamey)
“So many! But I’d say the Honeycrisp Apple Salad as I have it everyday. It has tamarind which gives it a delicious tang and goat cheese which makes it creamy. Perfect plate to enjoy for lunch with a crisp sauvignon blanc.”
Daniella Fernicola – Food & Beverage General Manager
Bahamian Conch Fritters (At Mamey & Mamey on 3rd)
“I love the Conch Fritters as a happy hour bite. Chef Niven freshly grates the conch daily, fries them up and serves them with a cilantro sauce. It’s equal parts filling and delicious. I’m also a big dirty martini girl, and gin and seafood are a perfect pairing. As I sip my martini on 3rd listening to our live music, I love to nibble on our Local Wahoo Ceviche with coconut leche de tigre.”
Cindy Ferreiro – Senior Marketing Manager
White Truffle & Brie Grilled Cheese (At Mamey & Mamey on 3rd)
“The White Truffle Grilled Cheese is a crowd favorite and my personal go to. It has layers of brie and a mango jam from Chef’s Rancho Patel. Love that paired with our Holy Lychee which is vodka based or our Jerk Margarita made with mezcal. Both are huge best sellers.”
Shawn Giorgio – Beverage Manager
