General Hotel Information
Where is THesis Hotel located?
THesis Hotel Miami is located at 1350 S. Dixie Highway, Coral Gables, Florida 33146. Centrally located in Coral Gables, THesis is also the closest hotel to the University of Miami—conveniently located across the street from campus.
Are there adjoining guest rooms available?
Yes, adjoining guest rooms are available for all room types, including the THesis Penthouse Suite which connects to a Double Queen. Please call our reservations desk to book and request connecting rooms.
Is THesis Hotel pet friendly?
THesis Hotel is pet-friendly and requires a $250 refundable deposit. Our THesis Pet Life program features beds, bowls and locally made treats. We also have a pet walking service for an additional fee to ensure your pets get out and about—just call the front desk. Please call or email us prior to your arrival if you are bringing a furry friend.
What time is check in and check out? Is early check in or late check out available?
Check in is at 4 pm and check out is at 11 am. Early check in and late check out are based on availability.
Is parking available at the hotel? Is there a fee?
Valet parking is available for $35 per night to hotel guests. We also offer a visitor rate for those dining at THesis. Self parking is available at the garage of THesis Residences. Fees for self parking are advertised on-site and are subject to change.
What are the pool hours?
The rooftop pool is open from sunrise to sunset daily.
Are pool towels available to guests?
Yes, towel service and SunBum sunscreen are always available at the pool terrace.
How far is the THesis Hotel from the airport?
THesis Hotel is approximately a 25-minute drive from the Miami International Airport (MIA) and a 45-minute drive from the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL).
Is airport transportation to and from the hotel available?
THesis Hotel does not offer airport transportation. Rideshare services are available in the area and a convenient way to get to the airport or explore Coral Gables.
Is THesis Hotel a non-smoking property?
THesis Hotel is a non-smoking property, with a $250 smoking fee.

Is there a fee for Wi-Fi?
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in all common areas and guestrooms.
Is there a laundry facility or service available?
We do not have a laundry facility. However, dry cleaning service is available by request.
Is there a convenience store available?
There is no convenience store on-site. Publix and CVS are within a 10-minute walk, and Whole Foods is a 5-minute drive from THesis.
Can THesis Hotel store my luggage before check-in?
Yes, we are happy to store your luggage prior to check-in.

Hotel Weddings & Events
Does THesis Hotel Miami host weddings and events?
Thesis Hotel offers 20,000 sqare feet of flexible indoor-outdoor meeting and event space. Multiple venues are available for your meetings, conferences, events and weddings.
How many guests can the hotel accommodate for an event?
With a variety of event venues and flexible meeting space, THesis Hotel can accommodate anywhere between 10 and 200 guests.
Is there a business center available?
There is no business center available at THesis.
Can I ship a package to the hotel prior to arrival?
Yes, you can ship a package to the hotel as long as you have an upcoming reservation. The package should be addressed to the same name used when making a reservation. Guests can ship up to three packages free of charge. More than three packages will be charged $5 per package.
Does THesis Hotel offer special group rates for guests?
THesis offers a group rate for bookings of 10 rooms or more. Group rates need to be quoted and handled by the sales team on an individual case basis. Please contact us for more information.

How far is Coral Gables from Miami?
Neighboring Miami in Southern Florida, Coral Gables is about seven miles from Downtown Miami or approximately a 20-minute drive from THesis Hotel.
Are there any beaches in Coral Gables? Where is the closest beach?
There are no Coral Gables beaches within city limits; however, there are many beaches nearby in Miami Beach and Key Biscayne. The closest beach to Coral Gables and THesis Hotel is located about five miles away at Matheson Hammock Park.
What dining options are available at the hotel?
THesis Hotel is home to two top Coral Gables restaurants by renowned Chef Niven Patel: Orno and Mamey. Other dining options include the rooftop terrace and bar, Canopy and convenient room service. Room service breakfast is available from 7:00 – 10:30 am and dinner from 5:00 – 10:00 pm. Hours are subject to change.
Are restaurants open to the public? Do I need a reservation?
Both restaurants, Orno and Mamey, are open to non-hotel guests. Reservations are not required but recommended.
Are there any activities or programs offered at the hotel?
Yes! THesis Hotel is currently planning activities and events. Visit THesis Life for the latest information on hotel programs and local events in Coral Gables and Miami.
Is there a fitness center at the hotel? What are the hours?
Yes, THesis Fitness includes state-of-the-art equipment, weight stations, free weights and strength training accessories. The fitness center is open 24 hours. Currently, only one guest is allowed at a time due to COVID-19 restrictions. Guests can book a 50-minute reservation at the front desk.
